"Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 0 are now $19.99 at Blockbuster stores nation-wide. Super Mario Sunshine, Star Fox Adventures, and Mario Party 4 are all $29.99. These are completely brand new, sealed copies and retail for $49.99. You might want to call ahead to make sure and have them scan instead of just taking their word for it.

My local Costco B&M store had Zelda for $43.99 and TimeSplitters 2 for $19.99. Most of the other games were $19.99 but they weren't particularly good.

Also, don't forget to pick up your copies of NFL 2K3 and NBA 2K3, this week only at Toys 'R' Us for $9.99. Price match at Circuit City or Best Buy to get them a few bucks cheaper"

Well I can confirm RE0 so I'm sure Metroid prime is the same price. I didnt ask them about that because I already have it. There's about 5 other people so far that have confirmed it. Mine also came with a sticker on the seal for a free game rental. I think that's a $6 value so you're looking at 13 bucks for each of these.

Edit: ugh...20-6 = 14. And my spelling sucks today.

It's just like he said, NBA 2K3 and NFL 2K2 at Toys R Us B&M. I just got mine yesterday. The guy in front of me bought 14 copies! The sales person was smiling and said that finally Best Buy has to price match them instead of the other way around.

Warning -- I wouldn't buy NBA2k3 unless you're willing to deal with frequent crashes. I don't know about other people (at first the problem was supposed tobe with franchise mode only) but my copy crashes midgame in any mode. Very frustrating!

Didn't see anyone post this. Amazon.com is offering Robotech: Battlecry for $19.99.

It seems to be a clearance item. Hopefully it will last long enough for me to make up my mind. Can anyboy give me some opinion on this one? Thanks!

Anyway, when I was checking out WrestleMania X8 I noticed another ebgames gift voucher deal (good from 3/14 - 4/30):

I picked up Bomberman and Wrestlemania, since I've been looking for Bomberman for a while and keep missing it other places (Target anyone?). Bomberman is pretty cool (although it probably helps that I used to play this all the time on the SNES...it feels just like playing the old game!), but Wrestlemania isn't so hot. It dosen't totally suck, but time will tell if it was worth $10 or not. =)

Does anyone have first-hand experience with a factory "refurbished" or "reconditioned" gamecube that is sold at EB and Gamestop? I believe that both stores only offer them in black color (which I would prefer anyhow).

The $60.00 difference (149.00 for new in-box, and 89.00 for reconditioned) seems pretty significant.

Besides the fact that it will not be eligible for free game(s), can anyone talk me out of buying one of these?

Most of those games retail for $50 anyhow...so just get a brand new one (like the Zelda bundle or the Sunshine bundle) Not bad for getting a brand new system and 2 games for about $70 more.

I would second this. Instead of the $60 you save, you'll basically get two or three games (Zelda+free; Mario+free+street hoops maybe at BB), a brand new console, the new warranty and a memory card.

Holy Schnikes! I paid full price for that bad boy just a few months ago. That is an unbelievable price! BTW MP is probably the best game for the GC, IMO. I'm playing Wind Waker right now and it might be edging up on Metroid, though.

And Gr1ml0cK's right. Tingle is one fruity dude.

yep, just got Metroid Prime and Resident Evil zero for $20 each at Blockbuster. Been waiting long enough for a good deals on those games. According to another fat forum, it's nation wide.

I also saw Mario sunshine, mario party4, and starfox for $30. all brand new!! This is pretty HOT IMO.

Just got back from Toysrus got NFL2k3 for $9.99, then had to go to CC to pricematch NBA2k3 for $9.99, they didnt take off 10% but oh well, im happy .
