You can find Eternal Darkness for $35 used at Blockbuster.
(2 at my local store, but I wasn't interested.)

So many games to beat still, but more and more are coming out this fall/winter.

Just called a B&M here in Tallahassee, FL. The clerk said they are not running this special. Can you please provide more info, perhaps a link to this deal so I can print it out and run in there with it? TIA

Just wanted to put my two cents in regarding Animal Crossing for those who might be on the fence. I got it when it first came out, and haven't been able to stop playing it since. Most enjoyable and addictive game I've played in a long time. The really cool part is, my girlfriend, who is usually not into games, plays just as much, and probably more than I do. While it is a single player game, there is a lot of interaction between the different human players. Kind of hard to explain

I bought it at EB, since they have that 14 day return policy, and I wasn't sure if I would like it. Oh, and there's a pretty good forum that I believe wasn't mentioned before at AXA Forums.

Animal Crossings has been getting rave reviews all across the boards, and there's a lot to it with the whole E-reader business. I'm leaning more towards Mario and Starfox atm though, and I can't wait for Metroid Prime in November. Shame Zelda was pushed back into Feb 2003 tho =/

Kmart B&M has Animal Crossing + Nintendo Official Strategy Guide for $54.99. Not a hot deal, but a warm deal for those who's interested in getting a strategy guide for $5.

By the way, if you trade in 2 games (GameCube, PS2, or XBox) at EB World, you can get Animal Crossing(or other new games) for $9.99. Qualifying games for trade in will be most games with a preowned price tag of $29.99** or above at EB. This is a deal because the stand alone trade in price for the 2 games I took in were $17 and $10. The guy at EB told me they don't have a print out of qualifying/non qualifying games. Just simply bring your games in and have them scan your games. Their computer system will tell you if your games qualify for this deal or not.

**I forgot if it was $29.99 or $24.99....can someone please verify this?

I rented Animal Crossing and found the game interesting, but it is definitely time consuming. I was playing late in the evening and some of the characters wouldn't talk to me. Since I play most my games at night, I would be playing Animal Crossing in the evenings only (unless I changed the clock on the game). It was fun, but I decided I don't have time for it.

I may have to look into the EB Games trade in, maybe get Starfox Adventures.

I just stopped by Target and picked up a copy of NHL Hitz 2002 for $4.98 plus tax. Madden 2002 was sitting there in the clearance shelf right next to NHL Hitz, but I forgot to scan it because I had no interest in it. Wouldn't surprise me if it was the same price as well. Lots of random PS2 titles on the shelf, but I don't remember anything in particular.

It looks like Target is putting anything 2002 on clearance, since I've read that people have been able to get NBA2k2 for $3.xx as well. As always with Target, YMMV.

scored the last copy in Henrietta NY today for $3.74. Shelf tag read $14.9x. Rang up $0.00 at the register, but the manager used one of those handheld pricing units to divine the $3.74 price.

Thanks for checking up on that Mario deal. I have no idea where I got the information from. I can't find any source now indicating that price. Maybe I was delirious when I posted that price.
