Hey Joesan,
Rogue Leader for the GC has to be the best Star Wars game made for any console. The graphics are gorgeous, the sound is incredible when heard through a Dolby Pro Logic 2 receiver, and the gameplay is tight. So many times when Star Wars games came out I kept wondering why no one had missions from the original trilogy of movies. Finally someone wised up and now you can fly into the death star as Luke and take it out with your X-Wing. This game offers many different missions and all are great. I HIGHLY recommend playing this game as it's great and well worth the $20 asking price that most stores have it for now.

I have never really cared for Star Wars games, but I picked this game up for $19.99 when it got to that price, and I was really surprised. I haven't played it much, but the quality of graphics and the quality of production is among the best ever for any console game. It's even more surprising that this was a launch game.

Thanks for the Input guys. I think I will stop by block buster and try out that Star Wars game. I'm thinking of picking up Mario Party 4, since it has drop to 30 bucks.

Mario Party 4 can be fun at times. The mini games are usually fun to play, especially with others.

Electronics Boutique is running a decent deal on preowneds. Buy 2, get 20% off; buy 3, get 25% off; and buy 5 or more, get 30% off. (Note: subtract 10% from each if you don't have the EB Edge 10%-off-preowned--games/acc/DVD card.) Also note the deal's only good on games and not on preowned accessories or DVD's. You can thus get "new" preowned games for only just over $30-ish dollars plus tax. Otherwise, I wouldn't have picked up Enter the Matrix if it weren't this cheap.

I saw that a best buy in Lansing, MI was trying to sell the demo disk for $39.99. I picked it up at Meijer for $8.99.

BB often gives trouble with a PM and coupon, so YMMV

Unless you are going to have a couple people play Mario Party 4 with you, I wouldn't recommend getting it. Playing against the CPU sucks. When I was over at the in-laws a few weeks ago, we played a bunch of 4-player matches and it was really fun. Then I played a couple 2 Human vs. 2 CPU games and it was lame. The mini-games (which is where the game really shines) are just not fun against the CPU. To top it off, you have to play 4-players b/c of the way the mini-games are structured so if you don't have 4 people to play, you're always going to have to play the CPU.

Just my 2 cents.

FYI, Buy.com's GC Monitor is back up to $135, but Circuit City has the Madcat Monitor for $99.

Also, I picked up Gauntlet at Sam Goody B&M for $30, and also saw it at Circuit City for $30. Not a hot deal, but I've had trouble finding this game at all, especially for less than $50.

Actually, I was referring to Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. Wasn't Gauntlet Legends only for the N64, or is it also for the GC?

Allright, I'm getting a little disgruntled here. I love my Gamecube, but retail stores seem to be overlooking it every week in their sales flyers and it's been a rather long dry spell as far as decent new releases lately. I'm ready for some new deals on some kick-ass games dammit!

Yeah the deals have toned down. I was going on the pace of one game a week for a bit. Now all I see in the weekly circulars is the standard nintendo promotion.
