Yes stay away. As I posted earlier in this thread, I ordered something that seemed like a great deal at the time, it took two months before I received it and it was used (had a blockbuster sticker on it as well) and had no manual. Thank god for amex. I brought it up with them and after another approx 2 months, they refunded the charge. Funny thing is, Buyrite still hasn't contacted me about how I can return the piece of crap they sold me. I guess they're not only bad at replying to emails but at communication in general.

yes, another stay away from buyritegames from me.

also, NEVER buy from upstategames.com those guys jacked me more than anybody. guy didn't respond until i filed a fraud complaint with discover, visa, and mastercard letting them know the guy was jacking credit card customers.

perhaps we should add a list of 'do not buy from' stores to the deals page?

i would, however, recommend:
goldenshop.hk (bought a gc vga adaptor that came lightning fast and works perfectly)
ncsx.com (bought domestic games, no problems)
tronixweb.com (bought domestic games, multiple purchases, no problems)

Actually, if you just save a copy of the rebate onto your HD, then I don't see why EBgames wouldn't honor it up to its expiration date of 8/3/03. Some of the $29.99 games could go cheaper in the meantime, if you are willing to wait.

I ran by Best Buy today to pick up TimeSplitters 2 for $14.99 and I noticed Madden NFL 2002 for $4.99. Circuit City sells this for $19.99, so I had them 110% PM Best Buy and got it for $3.50. I'm not a huge fan of sports games, but the bargain hunter in me couldn't resist this one. BB also had Beach Spikers back at $9.99 for everyone who missed this deal before.

I picked up the Gameboy Player the other day. I highly recommend it as it's so much fun being able to play all these great games on your TV. So nice to be able to see some of the backgrounds in some of the games.
