I picked up Mario Sunshine, Eternal Dakness and Morrowind (xbox) on Sunday. I wish I had seen melee and monkey ball.

ok i just saw that videogamedepot is taking preorders for silver wavebirds ($39 each) and silver and emerald colored controllers ($27 each). They're imports. Don't know when they'll be showing up in the states though.

I wrote to Nintendo and a rep told me that Platinum contollers are a Toy 'R us exclusive, so off to Toys 'R Us I go, too bad I can't use those $5 off BB coupons.

I'll let you know tomorrow, I can't stand the idea of any other color controller with my Platinum Gamecube, it just seems natural that it should be the same color as the system.

Okay, I went to Toy 'R Us and didn't find any Platinum controllers. I told the guy about the E-mail I got from Nintendo, and he said that he has never seen them come in. He said that he also has a platinum GC and that he's been looking for them too.

He did tell me that Toys 'R Us.com has them through Amazon, but anyone that's searched for them has seen the "this item is not stocked" message there. So I guess there are no platinum controllers. I understand that they have them in Japan (in fact they came out earlier this month), but I haven't really looked at importer websites.
