Is the new GBA coming to the US or is it Japan (import) only? Count on Nintendo to create desire in people. First it was the GBA, then it was the Platinum GC, and after that it the Wavebird, now this. I still look at my GC and find myself amazed at its size and design. Every time I look at one of those tiny GC disks or the Wavebird I know only Nintendo has the kind of genius to make something like that. I also have an Xbox, and I can tell you that even though the Xbox is more powerful, these Nintendo games load up almost instantaneously as opposed to Xbox games taking a significantly longer time. That was one of the big reasons Nintendo stuck with a cartridge format for N64, and now they have shown that they stick to their philosophy about games loading up fast. These guys really know something about keeping people happy.


The article was confusing about backlighting. I got that it has an internal front lighting as opposed to backlighting. I can't believe they put an internal Lithium Ion battery in this thing. The only thing I'm concerned about is whether it will be too small (hard to hold and play), but knowing that Nintendo tested that with people, it likely won't be a problem.

it looks like the control shape is the same as the gameboy pocket so holding it should be no problem
and the new gba is coming out in the US in about march from what the article said

Yeah, unfortunately, it looks like (again), we're not getting the cool black color, silver and cobalt blue only (at least, thats what ebgames has available for pre-order)
