Since you guys are mentioning wholesalers, I thought I'd pop in the selection I've seen at 3 different California Costco's:

Aggressive Inline - $19.99
FIFIA 2002 - $19.99
NHL Hitz 20-02 - $19.99
Crazy Taxi - $19.99

There are a few more titles also priced at $19.99, but they are less notable. They are also selling a bundle priced at $279.99, which consists of: a Jet Black unit, the Star Fox Adventures game, the strategy guide, a 59 Memory Card, and an extra jet black controller. I find packaging an extra controller with a single player game a little odd, but at least you can use it for multiplayer games in the future. Good Luck!

I picked up NHL hitz 2003 for 19.99 & Tony Hawk 4 for 29.96.. pretty good deal IMO. i also saw Kelly slater pro surfer (how is it?), mlb slugfest 2003 & burnout for 19.99 , Mario party 4 was $42 tho. NOTE: THPS 4 had no sams club barcode while mario party did, these 2 titles you had to carry a display box to the register to purchase.

Interesting article

January 17, 2003 - Nintendo confirmed to IGNcube today that beginning February 9 and running through May of this year, consumers who buy a GameCube for $149.99 at participating retailers will get a free game with the system courtesy of the company.
Buyers will be able to choose from four games, including: Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 0, Star Fox Adventures or Mario Party 4.

"It's an exciting program," said Nintendo of America's vice president of marketing and corporate affairs Perrin Kaplan. "It's a great opportunity come February for consumers to get their hands on the games that keep the folks at IGN up at night: Metroid Prime, Mario Party, Star Fox Adventures and Resdident Evil 0."

The more aggressive move by Nintendo could provide an extended boost to holiday sales of GameCube, which were solid, but noticeably behind a larger spike in demand for Microsoft's Xbox console.

More on this story soon.

I picked up NCAA Football 2003 today from Blockbuster for $10 (+tax). They had a bunch of them so it looks they were trying to get rid of them. I got lucky and it came with the instructions and there wasn't a stupid sticker on the disc.

So, check Blockbuster from time to time since you may never know what they recently lowered prices on.

The bundle is good news, but they don't specify how it will be done. Will there be 4 seperate packages, or will it be a mail in thing? With a choice of 4 games, I get the feeling it'll be a mail-in

Surprised Nintendo didn't do this before Christmas.

BTW: Figure this will keep the Xbox bundle around for at least a while longer

BTW2: With the price of those titles, that makes the GC around $100...pretty sweet.

BTW3: And no...I won't be picking one up. (and that is not a flame...read the next BTW)

BTW4: Saving my pennies for either: 1.) Widescreen projection HDTV or 2.) Steel Battalion or 3.) both

Sweet! I just got a Plat cube last week. I'll just "return" it at work (Target) and then buy it back for the same price after Feb 9th and get the free game too !

Me = Happy boy!

The deals at Sam's are definitely YYMV. I was at a Sam's in southern NH yesterday and got Metroid Fusion for GBA for $14.86, but none of the Gamecube deals listed earlier on this thread were available. All of the GC titles were around $42.xx with the exception of a few older titles. I check frequently though because there seems to be no rhyme or reason to their pricing schedule.

"Dead Parrot Sketch, would you mind telling us which part of the country you found this? "

I'm in Columbus, Ohio.
The stickers said $42.99 but they scanned at the register the prices I said earlier.

Anyone who is interested in other titles will have to get off the couch like I did and do a little leg work.

Mail in form? WTF? I pre-ordered mine at the local ebgames and they said they'll get the extra game disc in in February for pickup.

Yep, that sucks. I think they are doing that so you cant preorder it and then back out after you get the 2 free games.

In any case the BB mail-in will take "6-8 weeks" for you to get the 2 free games, so you're better off with EBgames.

BTW, Dead Parrot Sketch:

I picked up Animal Crossing at the Reynoldsburg Sam's, it was the last copy. I tried to buy Mario Party, but it scanned at $42.95.

AU Tiger, on your Big List you have NFL 2k3 listed as $24.99 at CompUSA; online I see it for $29.99. Is that $24.99 price valid in some stores? Thanks.

Thanks. I was hoping that at least one vendor would have a deal on the NFL games since there is only 1 week left in the postseason. Oh well, we can wait and see this Sunday.

Amazon now has Zelda for preorder for those with Amazon coupons/gift certificates. New Zelda game is $49.99, the bonus disc is $69.99 and there is a $69.99 coupon to apply to your order. You have to pay shipping. Total cost when I put it in my cart was $55.47

Walmart.com also has Zelda for preorder with the bonus disc. No details on how you get the bonus disc.

The following games are roughly $32 plus shipping after coupon.
