pac man world 2 is 20, must have just dropped, since the used version is 25$!

spyhunter has been $19.99 for a while now... i wouldn't be surprised to see it drop to $9.99... i know cuz i've wanted to buy it for the last couple months but $19.99 isn't low enough to convince me yet

Thanks to the poster who pointed out the $19.99 Metroid Prime at Blockbuster, just picked it up today in Akron, Ohio. The sticker on the game said $49.99, but I had the cashier check the national computer system and she said it was there for $19.99.

Also about CompUSA and their deceptive advertising, you can also make the ad true =) When you buy the cube, it will ring up by itself for $99.99, and Metroid Prime which you have to buy with it also rings up seperately for $49.99. All you have to do is turn around and return the copy of Metroid, since its a seperate item on the receipt, and you got a GameCube for $99.99, and CompUSA's ad just got a little less deceptive

Yup, they're part of the Nintendo player's choice series of games, all of which are $29.99. This happened back at the same time the `buy a GameCube, get a free game' promotion started.

Current titles are:

Luigi's Mansion
Pikmin
Super Smash Bros. Melee

Of course, all of them are $24.99 with the $5 gamer's gift card coupon at BestBuy. =) I just picked up Super Smash Bros. the other day and it's a great game!

Whoops! I've edited the original post. I was being a little too loose in what I said, assuming that everyone here knew about it.

It's not the `gamer's club' coupon, it's the `gamer's gift card' coupon. In the shelves by the games in a BestBuy you'll find gift cards packaged in a cd case (usually on the ends of sections of games) that have a $5 off coupon good for video games or accessories over $19.99 on the back. You just have to buy the gift card and then use the coupon. If I remember right the ones that I've seen are good until the end of the year.

Actually, I was at Wal-Mart last week (Pennsylvania area) and I was checking out their clearanced Gamecube games and I saw "007: Agent Under Fire" for 18 bucks, but it had the Player's Choice box!

It's a crapshoot. Depends on the BB person servicing you. If it doesn't work the first time--try again!

I've done it many times. Sometimes you'll find a rep that tries to read the coupon and will misinterpret the language on it. I always argue that PMing is a policy and not an offer. Read the coupon you'll understand.
