Pikmin
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Star Fox Adventures
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader
Animal Crossing
Super Mario Sunshine

They have the same deal for ps2 greatest hits and xbox platinum hits if you're multi-consoled.

that wouldn't be too bad seeing how animal crossing, super smash and metroid retail for $30

i have a feeling this 2 for 25 deal would require us to wake up early in the morning and get in line for them. if they had this online, i would be so happy.... but you may never know.... thanks for the great heads up.

Someone on FW got the EBgames ad and in fine print it says only applicable towards $19.99 games.

Here's the quote:
Looks as though you can mix and match. No list on the flyer though. Just a pic of Socom for PS2, Splinter Cell for Xbox and Super Smash for the GC. Then it says, "Lots more" plus (regularly priced @ $19.99 each, which probably means you can't include the $29.99 ones)

sorry

That's what I was thinking right after I posted this. I'm sure you can talk your way into getting SSBM if it was their mistake. I dont know if the manager will let it fly for animal crossing and metroid.

Just noticed Best Buy has some new kind of Gameboy Advance player for the Gamecube, it's $29.99

Only available in stores but you can see it in their weekly ad online, it's on page 19.

I saw Eternal Darkness (new) for $15 at Sam Goody B&M in Niles IL. Don't know if it's nationwide.

I know this is not the correct thread (I not even sure I'm correct on this) but I thought I read somewhere on this forum of a trade-in program with EBWorld for Gameboys to get the new Gameboy Advance SP.

Can anyone please correct me or point me in the right direction

Am I mad?

Nope, they've always had it at Electronics Boutique. BF just had a much better deal ($59 instead of $70-90 I think). I have two SP's and two original units so I should have taken advantage of it but I want to keep one standard Platinum unit and the other is Japanese.

Additional information:
It uses GBA emulation technology so it only supports GBA games. They could have easily included a GBC emulator, but they'll probably save that functionality. Just like there isn't a perfect GBA emulator for PC, there isn't for Gamecube. When the next big game comes out it will probably need an updated boot disc.

It dumps and transfers the game cartridge's ROM content into memory on the GCN where the emulation takes place. It is smart enough to update the SRAM, EEPROM, FlashROM and RTC on the original cart when completed.

There will probably not be an updated boot disc with GB/GBC support (The carts require different voltages, normally switched by a keyed cartridge).

Nintendo plans to use emulation technology for Pokemon Channel, allowing the GBA's to link to the GCN via the link port but the game ROMs will actually be stored on the GCN disc (The link to the GBA will only confirm that you own the game and retrieve/update the save memory and RTC). This emulator as with all of Nintendo's past emulators will be highly optimized for this one game, so it is not an example of console emulation's adequacy for retail use.

BTW, Pokemon Stadium used this same technique with the GB Transfer Pak for emulating Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow.

I have no doubt that this could have been made "hardware-less" using the player's own GBA-to-GCN link cable and the Start+Select trick on the GBA, but I'm sure it would be quite a bit slower. Perhaps they'll make a "Pro" version with GBC support in the future and a cheap "disc only" version like the GameShark Pro and GameShark Lite (Both Datel products sold by Interact).

I say avoid it unless upgrades turn out to be free (GS upgrades became an on-going business!). Generic console emulation will never mature enough to stand on its own like that.

I'm looking for a console. Seems like I missed out on the best bundle deals. This deal looks decent, 4 Zelda games and 12 free rentals
at GameCrazy/Hollywood Video plus console for $99. I'm assuming one controller is included but don't know. Looks like BM deal. Any other console packages around?

That's not really a "package"

The four Zelda games are included with the console for free at all locations with newer stock. They are (good) emulated classics from the NES and N64, not actual GCN games

The free rentals do make it a better deal than most. Blockbuster was offering a Freedom Pass with any console purchase before the FP program took a nap. That was MUCH better!
