thx for the info. I regged my gamecube, mk double dash, and mario party 5, so I shoudl be getting my zelda disk. I can't seem to find the free strategy guide though for double dash

i just registered my gamecube and two games (mario party and mario kart), but they don't show up under my profile at nintendo.com...
there is a section under profile that lists the games i have registered, as well as the systems i have registered. right now it shows as empty, although i have registered them...
is this happening to anyone else?

i would be terrible if this made me not receive my zelda games..
after all this troubles, and i wouldn't receive anything T-T

just click on "register products" and under the right hand column labeled "Registered Items" it lists your games and systems you have registered. I'm still waiting for the zelda collection disc. It's been over 3 weeks and I've been emailing nintendo and they finally emailed me this morning and said they shipped out a replacement.

If you can't find a good deal an option is always to go to Best Buy and get the Gamer's gift card that has a $5 off coupon on the back of the jewel case. This can be used on most game and accessory purchases.

I know it's been explained many times on these boards but I'm still gonna have to ask: How does this gamer's gift card deal work? You buy a gift card and then use the gift card and included coupon?

if you go to the store and look at the gamer's gift card it's pretty easy to figure out.

1. look for the gamer's gift card. It comes in a CD jewel case. Look for it at a Best Buy store. You can either drive to the store or take a bus.
2. take it to a convenient check out line.
3. purchase the gift card, they will ask you how much money you want to put on the gift card. Pick an amount between 1 penny and $10 million dollars, that is a decision you have to make on your own or in consultation with your minister.
4. you will purchase the gift card at this point. I hope you are familiar with the process involved in making a purchase at a retail store.
5. you will notice that inside the cd jewel case there is a cardboard sleeve. On one side, which I'll call the back, you will notice a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $19.99 in video games or accessories. There are details printed on the coupon, have someone read them to you if necessary.
6. at some future time make a selection of a qualifying product.
7. approach the check out line.
8. when it is your turn say to the clerk. " I would like to purchase this item and use this coupon which I have brought with me as part of the transaction." ( I forgot to mention you should bring the coupon with you.)
9. you can pay for the item using any form of payment you wish that is acceptable to Best Buy. You could use the gift card you purchased, a credit card, a jar of pennies, etc.

Yes, by spending $5 bucks for the gift card, you get $10 bucks in credit ($5 gift card, $5 off coupon).

-$5 + $5 +$5 = +$5 total

I called and they said that it's an error. It is a unique item number, description and image so it's definately not an accidental listing. Anyway, they wouldn't sell it to me.

I take that back! They did honor the price when I called back. I asked if they would honor it "because it is still listed and the site does say it is still available for that price" and they said "yes." The difference will be refunded for me when the item ships I am told. I'd call and ask the same question if I were you. It wasn't terribly inconvenient (They even let me do the whole email confirmation thing over the phone). Oh, and shipping is $4.98.

And to keep with the theme of this thread... A YMMV deal at Target. Target stores currently offer rainchecks when a video game is sold out. If you can find a game that is out of stock with the raincheck slips in their place, get the slip and take it to a register. There a raincheck will be printed out for the game. At the bottom of the ticket is the offer to give you the same percentage off a similar item. Thus if you have a raincheck for a game that was on sale at 30% off, you could use that 30% off on a game of your choice.
