Yes, it will work with the PS2, but only with PS1 games. You can't save PS2 games on a PS1 memory card or vice versa.

Also found a warm deal for those who have a Fry's near them. Newly released Splinter Cell is on sale for 37.99. Deal good for Sunday 4/13. Dont know when it expires so call them and ask. Usually Fry's deals are from Fri-Tues.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is on sale at Target starting on Sunday for $37.88. PS2 Greatest Hits also on sale for $17 each, which is lukewarm at best.

Toys 'R Us is having a buy 2 get 1 free deal, which claims to be on all PS2 titles. Not too bad. =)

Definitely YMMV, I bought some more than 1 month ago, and couldn't find it in any

there's no good 2 person or multiplayer games for ps2.. simply, getting bored. all the rest of the systems have atleast some four player games besides just sports. ps2 needs some good four player group games so i can have a reason to buy a multitap adapter.

i have around 80 ps2 games but when it comes to having people over, the only games we can play are some sports games like, nba live, hot shot , nhl, nfl and some fighting games..

need a mario party, smash bros, chu chu rocket or bomberman for ps2.

PS2 Hardware revision announced today:

New PS2s will read every type of DVD except -RAM, adds a remote which can o/c cd tray, and gets progressive scan output. IT does however lose Firewire port.

Remember: the PS2 memory card is 8MB (megabytes); the PS1 memory card is 4Mb (megabits), which is 512KB = 0.5 MB. There is a pretty big difference! Plus, you can only save PS2 games with a PS2 memory card and PS1 games on a PS1 memory card (in-game), so you need one of each if you plan on playing PS1 and PS2 games.

Hope TRU B&M still has a good selection of PS2 games in stock when I get there tomorrow... I'm hoping to get Xenosaga, Splinter Cell, and a third game which I havent picked yet. Maybe ZOE2?

Here's what I did....

I've been waiting for Robotech to drop (and missed the outpost.com price by a day isgust, and went after the 2 + 1 TRU deal.

I had 'm pm the new Yu-gi-oh game to Target's ad price of $37.88, Superman to Meijer's in-store of $19.99, and got Robotech free.

$61 out the door, and both my son 'n I are happy. Maybe not the best deal, but I paid half for the Yu-gi-oh game, so that's a deal in my mind.

Heh... I got in on that deal, too, but went a different direction.

I bought Midnight Club II and Automobile Modelista, and then got Dark Cloud 2 for free. I'm very happy with my selections!

It's something like you can save 15 blocks per card, and each block is 19kb or something.
