Speaking of XBL does anyone know if XBL can support 2 communicators on 2 different controllers. If so, does anyone know where to get an extra headset or if MS will be selling extra headsets? Thanks!

If you just want audio capabilities for a buddy....you can rig up a splitter for another headset and mic. Not a difficult thing...but Radio Shack prices almost make it cheaper to just buy another Live Kit.

$29.95 - $15 Instant Rebate = 14.95 (check local store - sold out online)
Sweet Price for those who don't have it yet....i picked it up last month with my xBox and have already received my $30 rebate .....but I really just wish that I could have bought the remote sensor by itself b/c I don't even need the RCA remote that comes with it.....I have a RCA television and I can use that remote with no programming...so anyone with a RCA DirecTV receiver, TV, or etc. can just hit DVD on their remote and control their xBox

Yeah, I got my rebate today and I have to say that I am impressed with how fast MS mailed it. But if you bought yours less than 30 days ago - PM! You could end up getting a $15 discount on your Xbox!

sxr7171 - SWEET IDEA! I bought one on Thanksgiving weekend for my bro and I didn't even think of PM'ing (got it from Circuit City). Thanks

WTH? I just called Circuit City and they said they don't PM on "Instant Rebates" because its a Rebate? ... Thats messed up, instant rebates is just some stupid term they use when they put something on sale!

For those of you looking for a cheap router for your XBox Live setup, I picked up a D-Link DI-604 last night for $19.99 AR + tax. It's compatable with XBox Live after an easy firmware upgrade.

Xbox Owned November
Thursday, December 19, 14:27 | Talon |

November, no matter what console videogame fans might own, was a huge month. With the release of amazing titles such as Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Splinter Cell and Metroid Prime, it was one that more than a few will remember. Today, Microsoft announced that it wasn?t just big on the game?s side of things, as Xbox enjoyed its finest month for hardware during November according to NPD. Partly fueled by the launch of Xbox Live, Xbox was able to outsell competitor GameCube for the seventh month in a row with the Xbox Holiday bundle (Xbox, Sega GT 2002 and Jet Set Radio Future) outselling GameCube and the Super Mario Sunshine bundle by 131 percent. Moreover, Microsoft reports that Xbox sold 34 percent more titles than GameCube since release, with titles such as Splinter Cell, a game with a quarter of a million units sold worldwide, leading the way.

The system comparison continued as Microsoft added that Xbox Live was able to sell 86 percent higher than the PlayStation 2 Network Adapters. This comes on top of sales of Xbox Live titles such as MechAssault, Tom Clancy?s Ghost Recon and Unreal Championship selling in excess of 300,00 units in North America during November. The aforementioned Xbox Live titles attached at over 80 percent to the Xbox Live Starter Kit.

Stepping away from North America, Microsoft reported a few noteworthy details on other regions of the world. For starters, Microsoft continues, Xbox is the second top selling console in Europe according to ChartTrack and GFK; with the system outselling GameCube by two to one. In Australia Microsoft reports that Xbox and PlayStation 2?s market gap is only 4 percent, with the Xbox market share doubling to 46 percent over the past eight weeks. In Asia Microsoft reported that the Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan went well; with over 5,000 people lined up during the system?s launch.

Lastly, in Mexico, Microsoft reported that the October launch went well. According to the report issued today, the system is the most widely available next-generation console in the country.

Went throught the last page and didn't see this mentioned so:

As usualy, BlockBuster has deals running but this week you can take $5.00 off per game. This works GREAT when you buy 2 get one FREE.

Today I picked up these used games (not a scratch on mine)
Spiderman $19.99 -$5.00
NFL Blitz $19.99 -$5.00
Jedi Starfighter FREE

Total cost = $30.00 for 3 games (great condition and manuals).

My local Store had a TON of games left. YMMV

That last sentence is pretty funny considering that the console is assembled in Mexico - sure it's widely available in Mexico!

On a more serious note it is nice that MS is actually distributing it in Mexico.

$5 off is new....when does it end? I'm goin to BB tomorrow

Last time I went, they had all of the Sega 2K3 series on sale for $24.99 as well as some marginal games. I couldn't pull the trigger on the third game so I ended up passing. I'm gonna try and get either NCAA Football 2k3 or NFL 2K3, and 2 other games. What's a good splitscreen 4 player game? XBox will be the source of entertainment for my huge extended family this X-mas, so this should be a nice way to add a few titles to the playlist.
