Just FYI, I called the Microsoft Rebate Center number (1-800-622-4445, which is printed on the DVD kit rebate form) and they confirmed that the XBox bundle (console with two Sega games) now qualifies to be used towards the DVD kit rebate. They stated that this is a recent change within the last few games due to consumer demand. They even confirmed the SKU for the XBox bundle.

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone who gets XBox Magazine would be willing to help a fellow AT'er out... Im looking for one of the Demo discs that has the Dead or Alive 3 Bonus Pack on it because I own the game and cannot find anyone with the Bonus Pack disc. The bonus pack is on a few of the discs, any one of them would serve my purpose: Disc #9 (Aug 2002), Disc #8 (July 2002), or Disc #7 (June 2002).

If anyone has one of those discs and is willing to let help me out. If you would like the disc back Ill mail it back to you (It just needs to be run once apparently). Please PM me if you can help!

Also if anyone has many of the demo discs and wants to sell them maybe we can work out a deal... but mostly I just would like the DoA3 Booster Pack.

eBay has a lot of folks selling such discs for pretty reasonable prices.
It will probably also make an appearance on future OXM discs.

I *MAY* have a spare soon, but not right now.

This is a deal for people whose company still have training budget. globalknowledge.com is giving away an XboX for anyone signing up for their classes. I dont work for them, but I'll probably check with my boss tomorrow to see if there's anything left in the training pot.

First off I want to thank everyone here thats helped out so far. I now have added an Xbox along side my Game Cube.----> Enough ass kissing

Anyone know where I can pick up a rebate form for the DVD Kit? There wasn't one included with the bundle or in the package with the remote. The remote rebate now being offered was one of the final reasons I decided to grab the Xbox. The folks at Best Buy were clueless when I asked them about it. Any help is appreciated.

Its only good if you want to play any saved games you have at another persons xbox. Granted he has the same game as u or if you bring your game along with you. To me its useless. None of my friends have an xbox and if they did i wouldnt bring a saved game with me.

Anybody here bought the xBox combo from EB??....I talked to the sales rep there about the tradein deal and he told me that they sell the xBox with a $20 mandatory 1-yr Warranty so it comes out to be $120 (w/ the $100 tradein discount)....Was he BS me about having to get the $20 warranty? I don't want or need it since I am going to mod my xBox and void the warranty anyway....

I did the deal back in June when it was console and 10 games for $100 off. They did not even try to sell me a warranty at that time. They may have changed the terms, but I would try a different Electronics Boutique or Gamestop if there is another one in your area.

I did the trade-in monday night at EB - I was offered the 1yr warranty, but refused. The sales rep never mentioned anything about a mandatory warranty.

Its Bs, there is no madatory warranty. Its optional
