hm... don't try to squeeze into her life too fast, she just push you away if she doesn't accept you right now. First off just try to slowly do little things for her, i.e. if she is learning how to drive ... then let her drive your car with you sitting next to her (if you aren't worried). Just ask her how she is doing occasionally. Key thing is don't try too hard at first ... she needs to gain a trust first, after that you can start dedicating more time with her.

Maybe the daughter has a crush on you, and is doing one of those weird 16 year old girl things to try to hide it? (No I'm not saying nail the 16 year old). My friend who just turned 30 was dating a 36 year old who had a 19 year old daughter. The daughter acted all pissed at him every time he was around, then she ended up coming home drunk and getting on him in the middle of the night. Turns out she wanted him. He got out of the relationship because the girl kind of freaked him out (he pushed her off and left the house), and I was pissed because I was going to ask out the daughter .

oh, my moms boyfriends were always pretty truamatic too. so i just hated all of them form the start. once she gets to know you she will see that you aren't like them. just remember to NEVER argue in front of her, or when she can hear. she is probablyvery protective of her mom, and will hate you for upsetting her mom. don't yell, ever. yelling is bad....in any situation

The problem is they always used to stay so close to each others that the girl is afraid that I'll take away her mother from her...but I would never do that I feel so great and I have fun with both.I like to be a boyfriend for the mother and a friend for the daughter.I really can't wait to start talking to her...just to rassure.
