Big TF2 update today

Yeah, log on to do a bit more playing, see how I like the update, and it's engie central. Not worth playing ATM

Pyro change is good. Now nobody should be using the Backburner.

Pyro is easy to play against bad players but hard to play against good players. Only way to kill them now is with ambush.

I agree that this makes it better defense class, but offense is underpowered on many maps, such as dustbowl and goldrush.

Sure everybody has different opinion, so no surprise that this update is like by many, and hated by as many others.

Well well - they fixed bugs from yesterday. Backburner now makes 20% more damage than regular flamethrower.

Except with backburner, trust me you do not want to play against me with backburner, especially since it does more damage now.

Not uncommon on the goldrush server I play on to easily be 4-5kill to 1 death ratio as an offensive pyro.

On defense, I've straight up had the other team run the other way from me...especially if I get a kritz medic

If the flamethrower damage was reduced by .2, so .8 from original 1.2*.8!=1 so, is it back to original or a bit less?

heh, haven't played this forever.

Nerfing the Pyro isn't something i really like the sound of though, even though i don't play as that class as much as some others.

It's a bug in the latest update the lets engies build unlimited buildings including dispensers and tellies.

crit cola gives and received mini crits for 6 secs

I saw this for the first time last night and thought it was a mod. Rocket jumped to the sniper deck in 2Fort and near the entire left side was filled with level one sentries. So I switched class to demo and racked up awesome points BTW, I've run into a few pyros and haven't noticed any damage nerf. They still seem to kill me just as fast.

Alot of us have regular lives that we don't time to schedule time for video games- we squeeze it in when we can. When I was younger with less responsibilities I could schedule games and play in clans and stuff. Those days are gone.

Uh, ok. I've got a FT job to support 4 kids. That's a pretty regular life I'd say. Not sure what you've got going on. Not sure I get the point, either but anyhoo....

You can't do that in regular play, you are limited to only one sentry. The one posted above was a temporary glitch and the only other times I've seen that are on servers where admins are messing around and having fun (pretty rare).

BH Slaughter has a permanent mod where you can build two dispensers, but that's all I've seen.

Yea the 2 dispenser one is fairly common. Played in many servers that allow that.

Pyro is loser class now, you can't make decent damage up close anymore. Pyro was difficult to play before, now is almost impossible.

not true, you just have to learn to aim with the flare gun and know when to run. its a support class, taking out sentrys without help can be hard, but spy checking etc is always win. plus if you can learn rocket reflect then you are talking pretty powerful. but that is hard to do
