No, you have been in every thread where people point historical facts out about how we wound up closing the doors on unregulated numbers of immigrants in the 1920's and how the KKK itself was responsible for the studies given to congress of how new immigrants from western europe were a "sub-species" of superior eastern europeans. (that already came in by this point) They have prettied it up some in the past 90 years but it is still not large enough of a window for what we need in immigrants besides not being very american.
(and was not adjusted realilisticly becasue of cheap labor conservatives loving the corporate kickbacks from letting in a sub-class of laborers in to help squash union labor that at any time could be discarded by fearmongering the xenophobic part of our "legit" citizenry)

What is so ironic about this literal gamble of playing the xenophobes off of the mexicans is it can be turned against the slavedriving conservatives who let this happen, give them full rights and unionize them ala what cesar chavez taught us. It would come right back to slap the jerks in the face and america gets its new middle class post-baby boomer.
