Huh, not seeing a pic of Clinton as he claimed in his Twitter feed.

Fine fine but nobody can convince me tha Lynch didn't do a clever end run around Bill's attempt to bribe her by meeting with him publicly but privately and doing mea culpa, I won't get involved and let the FBI nail his wife. I don't need no garlic and crosses cause I get up early. Why else would she turn an innocent, how are the kids into a what a fool I was disaster. You know nobody in Washington ever takes personal blame for anything without a greater self interest aim.
And besides, you're not running for office, but know, I wouldn't trust you if you were.
Anything that happens that drives republicans NUTZ is well worth it.
There WAS NOT some "no contact" order in place between these two democrats, FYI.
There was absolutely no reason why two democrats could not say HELLO at some airport.
It wasn't like republican appointee Ken Starr never met with the republican leadership, in private, when he was actively investigating the Clinton's.
OH NO....
Republicans expect everyone to ASSUME they are on the up and up with the shit they pull.
Above reproach.
But two democrats at an airport?
Naturally, for republicans, THAT must smell of collusion.
Why should what happens in private between republicans be assumed on the level, where the same with democrats assumed to be corruption, illegal, and call for an investigating?
Hillary WILL be the next president.
Maybe Bill just wanted to ay hello to the acting AG.
Maybe Bill wanted to let the acting AG know that she was doing a great job, and the next Clinton administration might consider keep her on as US AG under president Hillary Clinton.
Maybe they just wanted to compare airline food.
"We only got peanuts. Did you get a meal? We never got a meal."
Gee... Seems I remember a closed door meeting between then acting VP Dick Cheney and the Energy Task Force. No one, at least on the republican side, thought that smelled of collusion. And considering Cheney's hands were covered with the corruption of dirty oil.
Dirty oil that directly caused American involvement in war, and the death of thousands of American soldiers. Not to mention the death of thousands of innocent women and children over as a result of that war.
And we wonder why terrorist want to blow us up.....
Not only should Bill have met with the acting US AG given the chance, the two of them should have checked into a hotel room together.
Give republicans in congress something to do during the first administration year of our next president, president Hillary Clinton.
I very much look forward to her second term as president.
The second term when Hillary will be re-elected in a huge landslide.
By then, the country will know it was smart indeed to stick with Hillary in the first place.
Yes, even the republicans will agree.
Let's see... Imagine Lynch telling the career DOJ prosecutors to not indict Hilary should they find a indictable issue. I doubt any amount of money or promise of position would induce Lynch to take such an action. So... just what might Bill have had in mind? Delay the FBI referral should that be forthcoming? What career FBI agent would let that pass without screaming from the rooftop? Nah, Ya gotta look to what might a motive have been before jumping into pool of insanity. I can't find a plausible one that Lynch might have been able to pull off Or Bill been dumb enough to think there was something beneficial she could do should she have been so inclined.
On your latter comment... It is not you who first must trust but me... And I trust me cuz of all of us I know me and that is something Socrates should have considered.
Late to the party... But I will leave this here.

and

She is in violation of the DOJ's own ethics handbook/code of conduct. She would know this. For those defending this meeting as simply two old friends talking about their kids and life I might point out that the conversation they had doesn't matter. She created an appearance of being unethical. It is convenient that it happened on a private jet, parked on the tarmac where a very private conversation could be ensured.
Those defending her are defending either corruption or stupidity. Please take your pick.

The meeting does appear to be a conflict of interest, and there's no way in hell the investigation didn't come up.
It certainly looks inappropriate. This is a situation which may have dire legal consequences and discussing it with a very interested third party strains credulity.

Your unwarranted assumption strains credulity.
I peeked. There is no unwarranted assumption. An interested third party was invited to discuss an ongoing investigation. That's incontestable. Bill Clinton should have gotten no more access to the head of the AG than you or I and that should be zero. That would also include any Republican including Trump. You would rightly be screaming if someone interested in an outcome against Trump had special access, and we both know you would. Yet because it's Bill you accept anything.
One thing you better pray for is that no defense related information was hacked from Hillary's server. Might want to find out why and I'll let you stew with "the republicans this and the republicans that", which you cannot help but do.
No assumption made except for the one you made after you said you didn't make one.
Was it bad optics? Absolutely! But that's about all it was.
My assumption is that Bill Clinton met with Lynch in private. What part of that is factually incorrect?
The part where you said he was invited and they discussed the case. Do you not recall what you just posted?

You merely double down on your assumptions. What you claim as incontestable isn't that at all.
Whatever passed between them is unknowable. That doesn't mean it was what you claim. It's called jumping to conclusions & motivated "reasoning".
Yep, you are correct. Mea culpa. They might have been talking about anything.
It still was completely inappropriate and lynch knows it. I don't think Lynch is in collusion but she might have been asking discreet questions but discreet never is in DC. Dunno.
I am wondering at the motivation here because nothing Bill does is haphazard when it comes to politics. My suspicion is that the reason Lynch turned the case over to the FBI is due at least in part to the realization of the potential appearance of conflict of interest, which she herself mentions in the article I linked to.
Do you wonder why bill did the same thing to Ted Cruz? Do you ever wonder why bill engages with protesters at a rally?
