Not really that funny, but it hits home. How many people really believe the Noah's ark story? A lot that I know, but it rarely comes up because they all feel how stupid and unbelievable it is whenever it does. They need someone to shine a spotlight on that story and flat out tell them that it is ludicrous. Nothing does that better than a mix of biting humor and derision.

Of course people who don't want to hear that will retort that Bill Maher is a dick for saying it. That's almost like agreeing with him IMO. It's like being angry at the only person who had the balls to tell you that you need to lose weight. You know he's right, but you just don't think polite people should be saying those things to you. It's oh so fortunate that you have the subject of his impropriety to bitch about, because that keeps you from having to really deal with what he's saying.

This. It's because they contain caffeine, which is considered an addictive substance. All of the Mormon rules against certain substances are due to their being addictive, which can lead to a loss of control.

It reminds me of when I was in class the other week. We were talking about various things and got to evolution. I mentioned that it didn't really bother me that some don't believe in it until I had people tell it to me directly. I just couldn't believe that.

Kind of like the posters here apparently. When was the last time you saw, touched or, could point at honor, love or, regret? Are they any less real for not being easily measured, standardized for all humans or, replicable in scientific experiments?
