Eh, I've decided to give it a spin. A lot of ppl think it's shit. I dunno.

So I put something under $100 on it. There's a 6 mo. promotion of no interest.

So I can basically just do nothing, then in 6 mo. time pay it in full and no interest?

Probably best to know how it works before you sign up but anyway...

You need to find out whether you still have to make a minimum payment every month.

You gotta be really careful with that stuff. Many times if you're late with a payment, the terms get revoked, and you get charged retroactive interest. There's a lot of little gotchas bundled in, and you have to be disciplined to use that kind of service well. I think they're generally more of a PITA than they're worth, but it can be a good solution to temporary problems. I wouldn't do it routinely.

I have a program that allows me to charge for purchases and let me pay later, and an opening promotion with no interest or payment.

It's called a credit card.

It's fine. I use it from time to time. The drawbacks are that it doesn't report to any credit bureaus so using it does nothing for your credit, and you WILL get charged 19.99% interest retroactively if you don't pay by the terms date. You don't have to make any payments until the end of the terms, but I would strongly suggest that you do pay regularly. I've never been charged interest by bill me later because I always pay it off early, but have no doubt that they will ream your ass if you go over.

It's a line of credit. As long as you can afford to pay for the purchases you make, you shouldn't have any issues.

I've never had an issue with it.

Just make sure you learn the terms.

I used it once on something from Best Buy I think (they had some discount promotion if you used it iirc) and it was fine. Paid it off on-time & they never hassled me or sent any kind of marketing spam (at least at the time).

They'll rape you with fees if you mess up a payment. Otherwise you should be OK.

I've used their 6m no interest before. Paid it off in a few months no interest. Worked fine for me, just don't expect to use it to keep a large amount of credit for a long time.

I use it from time to time... works good, convenient, great promotional financing. Usually I use it along with double ebay bucks when you pay with bill me later.

I usually pay the account balance off early to avoid the interest. I've never paid them a dime in interest but have used their promotional financing probably 6-10 times, never for any item higher than around $600.

I used it to buy the parts for my PC. Just make sure you don't miss the payment or you get retroactive interest. I just paid it off before the 6mo ended and it was all good.

I use it whenever it's an option and I'm getting the no interest for 6/12 months. Doesn't make sense not to.

Used it several times, no issue. I think it's funny that whenever I use PayPal, I get the option to use BillMeLater with a $10 off the purchase, even if the purchase is less than $10.

I used it to buy two tires from tirerack and will be paying it off soon. 6 months no interest no payments. I'll be doing the same for the rear tires.

I use it normally when there is some bonus offer. I first signed up because of the free $10 credit after the first purchase, I use it on ebay here and there because sometimes they run promo's to get an extra $10 in ebay bucks and an extra % of ebay bucks as well. I always pay it off before any interest gets charged.

They promote it WAY too much for it to be worthwhile. They will get you one way or another.

I don't see why you would use that instead of a cash back or rewards credit card. Maybe it's more hip and trendy? idk.
