they should move his name to the "Wall of Shame".

His peers judged him not guilty of the crimes. Whether or not you agree with the decision, you don't want this country court system turns into guilty until proven innocence.

wow you're kidding right?

Give the guy a break. Jeez. The hury found him innocent. INNOCENT.

Innocent until proven guilty and he has been proven inocent. End os discussion. I dont care what all those crackpot conspiracy theory armchair psychics/lawyers/prosecutors/and executioners think. The system proved him innocent so let it go already.

Wow, let's make the court system "guilty until proven innocent". Why would he be kidding?

You can prove this? Damn they should have came to you during the trial!

It was proven with the evidence during the trial. The jury acquitted him because they are a bunch of blithering idiots.

Let me ask you this, do you believe he didn't commit those murders? And don't give me the crap about he was acquitted therefore he is innocent and/or not guilty either. I'm asking you what you believe.

There are people guilty of murder running around free in this country and there are innocent people who are in prison. The justice system fails. It failed miserably in this case.

I believe he is guilty. I beleive he killed those people.

But the bottom line is the judicial system, no matter how flawed, found him innocent. This and only this is what counts in this country, so you can't go pulling his name down for something he did that wasn't proven.

I'm not saying its right. Its just the way it is.

Sure you can.

Proof.

Just like Hollywood can, and did, stop hiring him for movies following his acquittal. OJ's acting career came to a halt faster than a Mazda Miata in a NHTSA front impact crash test.

More proof.

How is it proven? That's not "proof" of anything.

O.J. was placed on the Bills' Wall of Fame, and in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, because of what he did on the field - period. That's why he got the Heisman, too.

Are we going to remove everyone from the world's Walls, Rings and Halls of Fame if they get accused of a crime after they retire (just because we "know" they did it?)? What crimes are sufficient to have ones name removed? What if they are found guilty, but we all "know" they are innocent? Who should we replace O.J. with - someone who was a lousy player, but a nice guy?

Get real.

BTW, I think he did it, too.

I've been thinking about this off and on since I saw it posted this morning, and the conclusion I came to is that I don't really care one way or the other. He was a great football player, and there is no harm in recognizing that. He was a bad person, and there is nothing wrong with holding that against him and not honoring his football accomplishments because of it. I think anyone who sees him on this Wall of Fame knows what he did, and while they are being reminded of his great football career they are also reminded that he (most likely) killed two people.

Your post was kind of confusing, because you bolded text that contained the word "proven", then you posted links as "proof," but your links of proof were proof that you can hold it against him even though it wasn't proven, not proof that he did kill Nicole and Ron. Proof. Poof.

WRONG!!! The jury did NOT find him innocent. They found him not guilty...not the same thing.

The system proved him innocent so let it go already.

This is a completely ridiculous statement. The only thing the system proved in this case was how fallible it can be.

that said i wouldnt take it down because of the murder. i would take it down because of the negitive media the guy brings.

I said in the thread that came out about the book and tv interview - it's about time his number was taken down.

It's the wall of FAME, not the wall of incredible accomplishments. He's no longer famous for what he did on the field; he's infamous for the murders he committed.

Incidentally, he was NOT found innocent - he was found "not guilty" - (beyond a reasonable doubt). Apparently the jury thought there was enough of a chance that he was framed to constitute a reasonable doubt. Personally, I feel the members of the jury had to be blathering idiots to have not understood the DNA evidence.

yeh, but Simpson was found liable for their deaths in civil court where they didn't have a starstruck jury presiding.

Do you understand the difference between a civil court and a criminal court?

So based on your armchair heresy, you are more informed than the prosecution and jury that sat through all the evidence?

You know, because E! or Channel 5 never sensationalize and The National Enquirer and random conspiracy websites started by fellow crackpots is SUCH a reputable unbiased news source...

Get back to me after you go through hundreds of hours of research, listen to the defense and prosecution and are actually informed. Otherwise, leave this process to the people that know what is going on, aka the 12 people that actually sat in and voted him not guilty.

You mean the 12 people that were taking notes to make sure their "book deals" would bring them optimal revenue after the trail, the same 12 people that listened to MONTHS of testimony and took, woah, a full 3 hours to make up their minds, the same 12 idiots that loved the charming Johnnie Cochran who compared the LAPD to Nazi's?
