Bing Cashback Weirdness

I recently purchased a monitor from dell using bing and logged in several times over the next couple of days to check the cashback status. It did eventually show, but what is unusual are these two emails bing just sent me:


You have $14.43 in your cashback account from your Newegg.com purchase on 11/26/2008:


You have earned a reward of $1.10 from your Newegg.com purchase on 12/15/2008:


WTF there. glad to have it an I sure as hell had forgotten. Good to see a smooth 18 month turnaround on that.

so how exactly does that thing work? i saw all the discount but never read the details... you don't get a discount rightaway? you get cash later? or do you get some kind of store credit? how long b4 you can actually use it?

If you bought two items, it'll show 2 cashback rewards. They're itemizing purchases now in order to bracket low price items into lower cashback percentages.
If you didn't buy two things, maybe it's a glitch or an adjustment.

these were two separate purchases. First was like 6 items, second was just 1. Normally I've got the money back with a day or so if not instant. I had totally forgotten about the first, the second I though might had been rejected cause I used an egg coupon discount.

still have no clue though why they didn't do anything with them until I started logging back in now for the monitor purchase (I have logged in not too long ago when checking on buying something else with bing c/b.)
