Bing Search Virus

I really dont understand how Microsoft uses it power with other companies to get the Search Engine Bing Internet Explorer toolbar to install Bing and then block other search engines like Yahoo.com/. It would be ok if all they did is make Bing the primary and only search bar in Internet Explorer. But the install does something evil and unwanted. After it installs Bing as the search toolbar, Internet Explorer starts blocking other search engines. If you go to some site like Yahoo.com/ you will get a "404 No server Found" message. This is just plain illegal. I say it is a Virus and Microsoft should be brought up on charges.

My search engine is ixquick. So, you are wrong dude. Stop spreading lies and do your homework.

In 4 machines using IE8 (XP), and 11 (Win7 * 8.1) I have never had the slightest problem replacing Bing with Google. Default is not a virus.

I've never seen a machine 404 (or any other error) specifically on a search engine site because the Bing Bar is installed, and I've seen a lot of machines with the Bing Bar installed.

IIRC when you install some browser toolbars, you get asked whether you want your default search engine choice to be enforced (ie. other software being blocked when trying to change it).

I've never seen the 404 no server error and i used to always use bing.
