While flashing the BIOS on a Jetway 663ASA motherboard with an Award Bios that I downloaded right from Jetways website and using the latest Award BIOS flash utility The process froze before it was complete. I was only able to boot the computer by using a Windows boot disk after that. When I tried to reflash the BIOS I get an error messege stating "program file's bios-lock string does not match with your system". I then tried using the BIOS flashing utility called uniflash, now I can't even boot using the boot disk. Is this junk or is there something I can do to get a working bios back on this chip? If the chip is junk I will probably just buy a different MB. Jetway wants $35 for a new chip with the BIOS loaded onto it. The board is only about $50.
