Bioshock Infinite - Excited or Not

The reviews are the same, but the PC got 9.5 and the console version got 9.4.

IGN recommends the PC version of course...

I am reading this now, but Bioshock2 was a horrid PC port. I could not even play it because of the keymapping bug.

PS. I went against my nature and pre-ordered. I haven't pre-ordered anything since Quake. I was very interested in this game as I liked the look of it. The pre-order free games ect (I hadn't got X-com yet) were enough that it seemed worth it. Let's hope it doesn't disappoint.

Where i read it, it said 100 mil for development and 100 mil for marketing. Perhaps that's where the $30 amazon credit comes from

I wasn't an Xcom fan either. If you like turn based strategy at all, it's really really good.

It's a shame there isn't any multiplayer. I know alot of people panned Bioshock 2's multiplayer, but I really enjoyed it. Infinite offers some killer mutliplayer potential, with the skyhook and travelling around; I imagine a very interesting CTF mode could be made around that.

Still preordered it though. Played through the Bioshocks many times over the years.

Bioshock 2's MP was amazing, and I was one of the best at it. It's too bad it got crapped on by COD and didn't last very long

Same here. Tried the first ones a few times and couldn't get into them. But this feels different. In a good way.

Same here too. Could never really get into Bioshock 1, and if Bioshock Infinite didn't look so different I probably wouldn't be getting it.

I was looking at it, but there's so little information on what is actually included/coming that I'm not going to pay for it.

The only specifics there are useless weapon upgrades and other buffs that you likely gain by playing the game regardless. Need to see some actual details on what the three add-ons actually include. There is nothing there right now.

I don't do MP anymore, though I used to; just no time for it now, but I am surprised it was taken out.

This is the first game I've preordered since the 90's.
