So today I decided to switch a AsRock 4CoreDual-VSTA for my Biostar 965PT that I had for a while that I knew was not dead. It worked before very well but then when I was messing with the RAM the Biostar wouldn't post. The AsRock took over for some time, and the RAM seemed to be ok.
Today I decided that I should give it another shot to try and fix the problem. So I plugged everything in and checked over the connections a few times. The board sometimes turns on, other times it turns on but only the first LED stays on and it is stuck there. Sometimes both LEDs come on but nothing comes on screen and the system restarts again. When the board does come up and something displays on the screen, it gets stuck after displaying the CPU in the POST. Sometimes it comes up and says Memory Testing and gets stuck there.
I tried swapping SATA ports, changing RAM slots, using just one RAM module, but nothing seems to get it to boot. Can someone tell me what the problem is? Is it the RAM? Is it the motherboard? Or is it something else? I hope what I described wasn't too confusing.

WD 36GB Raptor + Seagate 250GB 7200.10
