I'm currently using an i5 3570k and a G1 Sniper M3 and planning to upgrade
to an i7 4770k soon.

Any thoughts of this motherboard?

Nice board.. 10 phase power +1 phase for memory overclock, Biostar reputation for longevity, nice feature set..
I'd get the 4790K tho

Thanks man. Have you tried Biostar yourself? Pretty interested with their new line-up for Z97, the last time I used this brand was since AM2 days lol

I was really curious about this board actually. I was going to buy it when it was on sale for $115 because it has a very good feature set for the price. Don't be afraid of Biostar. They make good solid boards and they normally overclock just as well as the top tier boards. I have owned a ton of Biostar boards in the past and they never disappointed me.

It's a nice board,I have one,I like it.
It doesn't have the bclck that Maximus 7 Gene does but..
other than that it's pretty good! :thumbsup:

For 4770k I'd rather have the Hi-Fi z87x 3d,though.

My thoughts exactly. Been using these familiar brands of motherboards and biostar performs just the same as them. Must be others consider the looks of it, but for someone who doesn't care about aesthetics and normally uses a pc with closed side panel, i think it's worth buying.
