Yes, but I'm new and have lots of catching up to do.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not much to catch up on, iNGEN2.
On one side we have the entire Grand OLD PARTY, aka the GOP.
On the other hand we have a group of birthers, presuming to say to the entire GOP, exactly what the the thread title says, "Birthers: no place for moderates in the GOP."
So the simple question becomes, can birthers impose their litmus test on the larger GOP, or should the larger GOP say to the birthers, no, your agenda does not bind our party to blindly follow your only the birther agenda?
The birther position becomes even more untenable, when their position has made it all the way up to SCOTUS, and SCOTUS has already ruled birthers do not have a single legal leg to left to stand on.
But then again, the birther position towards the entire GOP is absolute, join us birthers or we birthers will excommunicate you from the GOP, and the GOP position is more even handed, because they leave it up to the individual GOP member to side with the birthers or not, with no GOP threats of excommunication either way.
