BitTorrent addon crashing?

Anyone else using this thing? I used it tonight and my computer just restarted 3 times while downloading a torrent. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem with it.

I had the exact same problem with it. Many BSODs. I uninstalled it after numerous BSODs.

It's experimental, but it works perfect for me.
I hear that it sucks with XP.
Which is further confirmation xp sucks.

Further confirmation that you're speaking out of your ass.
I've heard of no one reporting that "it sucks with XP."

Aside from Win2k, XP is MS's most stable OS. What do you use, WinME?

i've always had a similar problem with BT.
i noticed the computer will hang when the download is about finished. its some kind of network error, because as soon as it starts to hang i disable the network connection. as soon as i re-enable it, works fine again. if i dont disable the connection the computer reboots.

BT does tend to stress out network cards. try new drivers, or a new network card.

A computer without xp is not much of a computer at all in my opinion

The experimental client has worked fine for me. It's a godsend because I must cap my uploads or resnet may look into why I'm using so much bandwidth..

Use BT++. It hasn't given me a BSOD, but it did crash after completing a download.

I uninstalled it, and now the regular client is rebooting my machine also!

god, this is annoying.

I used to have BSOD from bt. it was my netgear network card!!!

I'm using Bit Torrent experimental, using WinXP Pro, and a craptastic D-Link 10/100. Not one single BSOD.

hmmm, I have a Linksys LNE100TX version 4 in mine.
Maybe I'll have to try my other computer with a different network card in it. I just assumed it was a software problem.
