BitTorrent question (upload limiting)

Is there a client out there that will limit my upload to some number times the download speed (e.g. upload no faster than 1.5x my download speed)? I'm on a limited upload (1GB per day), so when I'm DLing a big file, I can't afford to upload at 500kb/s and download much slower than that. If I'm downloading at 500kb/s, I don't mind uploading that fast.

Note that to not break bittorrent, the upload limit would have to be no slower than download of course, otherwise 2 people with that client would just choke each other... if both people have limits at, say, 1.1x, then they will rise until one of the two machines' connections is maxed.

edit: I'm using the bittorrent experimental client 3.2.1b, which lets me set a speed, but as my download speed rises, I don't mind raising my upload.

Oh...my suggestion would have been the experimental client....

But, 1GB per day breaks down to about 11.8k/sec, so I would set it to 11 or 12k/sec and be done with it

As far as I can tell, both of those only have limits like that for actual seeding, rather than while the download happens. As my download rate changes, I want my upload to change. If I'm missing options somewhere, please point them out .

I know that in the ABC Ver I gave a link to that you can restrict upload bandwith ( I have mine set to 10Kbs ) and also restrict uploads as a percentage of download. If you wanted to leave it running all night you could change the max upload to something low like 2Kps and then put it back to a higher setting at a later date. Also you can set the maximum number of uploads which you could set to one if you wanted.

I can do that with the experimental client already.

I set it to whatever will get me a safe margin under 1GB by midnight .
