I'm going to go down to my local black ghetto area and walk into a barbershop and complain about "black spaces". Who's with me?

I think it's a thing that rich, white people do. And hobbits.
Statements like this are ridiculous. So because some black people do stupid things, that makes all black people look bad? Do you hold the same standards for groups of Asians representing all Asians, or some whites being representative of all whites, etc?

I can only surmise that they are protesting their own stupidity, as one of their main talking points is bogus:
"The figure “every 28 hours” comes from an April 2013 report titled “Operation Ghetto Storm” by the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement. The report analyzed officer-involved killings of African-American victims in 2012. The report “is a window offering a cold, hard, and fact-based view into the thinking and practice of a government and a society that will spare no cost to control the lives of Black people,” according to the preface.
It’s not hard to debunk the claims using basic findings and methodologies from the report. (Twitter user @FeministaJones did it in a series of tweets using Storify.)
The report looked at the deaths of 313 African-American men, women and children in 2012, who were killed by police officers, security guards or “vigilantes.” Vigilantes are defined “self-appointed enforcers of the law” who had immunity under self-defense legal protections such as the stand-your-ground law or the castle doctrine.
If you divide the number of hours in a year (8,760) by 313 deaths, it does come out to one death per 28 hours. But the rest of the claim is problematic.
Among those killed in 2012, 136 people (44 percent) had no weapon on them when they died. That negates the claim that people who were killed “every 28 hours” were unarmed. Since the study looked at police officers, security guards, police officers moonlighting as security guards, and “vigilantes” that do not fit under any of the other categories, the claim that an African American is killed “every 28 hours” by a police officer is also false.
The “every 28 hours” figure is being quoted by thousands of people, including those who accurately cite the figure based on the report’s findings."

You people are missing the bright side - that radical sign-waving chick is rather nice to look at.
Wonder if they could be talked into using PETA tactics. If she promised to do naked protests, I'd promise to occasionally brunch. Or go to brunch. Or do brunch. Man, I am such a bad white, I don't even know the proper brunch terminology . . .
I think they were protesting against merging the words "breakfast" and "lunch" into the "brunch" abomination - those should be separate. (but equal!) /humorous
Really, what did this accomplish? Making a lot of people just out enjoying their morning roll their eyes at the antics?
Maybe a better idea would have been to go to these "white spaces" enjoy a nice brunch with their friends like everyone else, and show everyone that these are really "anyone who peacefully patronizes the restaurant spaces."
lol i am entertained
I suppose the only redeeming feature is that they aren't protesting somewhere they aren't wanted like this.
The shit would surely hit the fan then.
In my opinion if you're going to protest, the place that you're inconveniencing should at least be partly to blame for what you're protesting about.
We haven't had any civil unrest protests for quite a long time. The occupy wallstreet movement didn't do anything, and for the most part people just camped out and didn't bother anyone. I might be wrong there, but did it successfully do anything at all?
Here we have a movement very similar to occupy wallstreet. Many organized angry people who are venting that anger at the establishment with no centralized goal or voice. Except they are going out of their way to vent anger at people who probably have nothing to do with the problem at all. I think the results will actually be detrimental.

Well there were those two or three occupy clowns that conspired and planned to blow up a bridge in Cleveland.
I hear on the news that the KKK has seen a bump in fresh recruits - Probably thanks in part to these idiot protesters.
Yikes! I didn't know about that D:
