I just picked one up for 14.90 at the Duluth, GA Target (not the Super Target, the regular one off of State Bridge Rd. and Medlock Bridge). They had 5 on the shelf and the stock guy said they had plenty more.

Yup, $14.90 at NY; NiCd battery charges up in 3 hrs, max charge time is 8 hrs (not a smart charger, so you have to make sure you take it out before it overcharges).
It's reversible by the usual push-to-either-side arrangement, and locks it out when centered.

Tools are decent enough, and there's a molded spot for a second battery, which isn't included. Nice case-

It's got a lightweight battery and overall isn't as rugged feeling as my 14.4V one, but there's really no comparision for the price-

no go for target on E. Colonial in Orlando. they have a whole wall of these drills, but they are only marked down to $41. something

I just got back from the bayshore,ny. They where sold out. I went the one in commack,ny. They had over 10 left. I brought it to guest services and they came at 29.90. I told them that they had them in bayshore for $14.90. The girl called bayshore and they had her on hold for about 10 mins. She couldnt wait any longer and just hung up and gave it to me for $14.90. Nice deal. How long do I need to charge the battery for??

Check the store at Alta Arden/Fulton, it's scanning as $41.90 there. None at the store near downtown.

Is it possible, these are scanning as $41.90 at the self-service scanners and something different at the register?

seribellum, if it's scans 41.90 at the scanner it will scan the same at the register.

Guys, the reason some stores may have them for 14.90 is because they did the original 30% (41.90) markdown before other stores. It's not unusual for items to go from 30% off the 75% off. I've seen this happen alot. What happens is the item is marked 30% off (1st markdown). It should go down to 50% off (2nd markdown) 2 weeks later but some stores won't mark it down at all. They'll leave it 30% off for a month and by that time it's due for another markdown (3rd markdown). Then when they mark the item down again it will be marked 75% off. This is what I believe happened at the stores people are finding them for 14.90.

If you can remember when you saw the drills get the 1st markdown, you can figure out from there how long it will be before the price drops. If your stores did the 30% off markdown 2 weeks ago, it should have dropped to 50% on Friday. If it didn't, there's 2 reasons. The markdown people didn't get a chance to do the hardware area on Friday and will catch up on Monday or Tuesday (depending on how far behind they are) or your store is going to skip the 50% markdown, leave the item 30% for a month and then drop it to 75% off.

I picked one oup for 29.90 at a target here in Los Angeles. I wanst sure if I wanted it, but decided to get it after all.
The tools are nice, and it is a cordless drill/drive, It should come in hady. The case is also pretty decent.
I wounder if they reduce the price even further, could i get the difference?
