Black & Decker VersaPak 3 tool cordless kit for $24.98 @ Target

This item is a clearance special (look for the red price tag). It includes:

Cordless drill (VP825)/350-700 rpm/reversible/7.2V/keyless chuck
Multi-purpose saw (VP650)/2700 spm/7.2V
2 VP100 VersaPak batteries/3.6V
VP130 charger
Flashlight with krypton bulb
23 piece assorted accessory set

I've been told by a Target sales clerk that all clearance prices come from Target's corporate headquarters. Therefore, even though I found these in Knoxville, TN, the price should be the same everywhere.

They also had Stanley ProSharpShooter TR200 staple/nail gun for $4.98 (regularly $19.99). This is a 4-in-1 (brad nailer/staple gun/cable tacker/screen & canvas tool) that comes with 1000 3/8" staples.

The staple/nail gun was on a clearance section at the end of an aisle. The B&D kit was in the tool section next to regularly priced B&D power tools.

The ProSharpShooter TR200 is up to $9.99 (at least at the Target I was at), I picked one up anyway.

Another great clearance item - Modena Prologue 3-item luggage set for $15 (reg. $29.99). Though it's made in China, it's actually quite decent. Link

My Target was also having a sale on Cherokee Function Jacket - an insulated outerwear sports jacket. $39.99 (reg. $79.99). This jacket has so many zippers, pockets and ties you'll need a manual to use it. Amazingly enough, all of them are functional - e.g. not just for show.

Here?s a tip. I have this set. I bought it for the saw, but was really disappointed when I couldn?t see where I was cutting. I found that when working with boards if you turn the blade upside down you can push the saw away from you making it easier to see what you are cutting.

I picked up mine today. walked into target, brought it to the price scanner, and laughed out loud as it read $13. Walked out the door happy paying 13.23 total, tax and all. This forum is my new obsession, I was lucky enough to pick up that tiny little Koss DVD player at target for $25 recently. Lucky for me, it doesnt seem like there are too many people in CT taking advantage of the forum. thanks again guys.

Nope, it's a multi-purpose (with an almost jig-saw like blade) cordless saw.

Probably not really useful, unless you need it for really light work.

Does anyone have the make/model of the DVD player that is on clearance at Target? I think it is a Magnavox or Panasonic for like $25 or so. I know it's in a FW thread, but my work has the site blocked. Anyone get this for me? I want to go check at lunch for this tool kit and the DVD player.

I've wanted one of these sets for a while. I couldn't justify buying one at the normal prices, because this is such a light duty set...Good for minor odd jobs, but will bog down quickly (or break) if applied to heavy duty situations...But at this price, I can't resist!

The Lacey, WA store had about ten of these sets last night. I picked up two. On the shelf they were marked both $34.98 and $24.98. All rang up at $24.98.
