The burgers are fried which would most likely kill any pathogen, moreover the AIDS virus is quite fragile and would be destroyed by the acids in one's stomach.

Various species seem to be called "mayfly." Anatomically, those things in the video are closer to mosquitoes for sure. Just look at the fuzzy antennae.

Watch the video again. These are not what you saw in the video.

Specifically, the 10-second mark. You'll see they all have feathery antennae. The wings are small. Two legs are elongated. They don't have anything past their abdomen.

Whatever they are, they are closely-related to mosquitoes. Certainly closer to mosquitoes than to mayflies.

Dude. A few things

Mosquitoes do not swarm like that. This is a mating swarm. Their wing beats are also much higher. Any normal camera would not be able to capture their wing beats. A Mosquito wing beat is near 1000 bit/s . Mayflies and other larger insects have a frequency that may be captured by a camera. (<100 bit/s). Probably in the 30-50 bit/s.

You can barely see a mosquito in the air. In the video you can see thousands of insects in the frame.
