Black flashing with 8800GTS under Vista

Hi,
I am witnessing some strange black flashes on my 8800GTS. When I run the 3DMark 06 demo, the screen flashes when rendering Canyon flight. The said black flash is a momentary one. It's just like a blank frame rendered amidst all the action. My system config is:

Core 2 Duo E6600
2 GB Corsair Dominator XMS2 DD2-800 (dual channel kit)
XFX Geforce 8800GTS 320MB
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (rev 3.3) bios F10
Vista Home premium 32 bit
Corsair 620HX 620 watt PSU

I have almost exactly the same setup (dif. are e6400, OCZ Plat Rev. 2, Vista Business) and I don't get anything like that, so I doubt it's a compatibility or power issue. How does it run in real games? May actually be a problem with your 3dm06 install.

What video driver version are you using and what clock speeds are you running your video card at?

I'm using the current WHQL Vista drivers from nV. Clocks are stock 513/700 or whatever

My rig runs other games (MOH Airborne, FarCry, HL2:Lost Coast, Hitman Blood Money, STALKER etc) just fine without lockups/artifacts.
However, the issue with 3DMark06 remains. I have the latest drivers and am using the F10 BIOS for the motherboard
