I don't get it? All the deals are all shitty stuff like socks, shitty TV's, shitty gadgets that know one buys even if it's 99% off and unknown stuff that we have never even heard of. What's all the fuss?
I never been shopping when Black Friday starts. Waste of time imo.

All I want for Christmas is a decent coffee machine...can I even find one tomorrow?:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

This is UK btw, not sure if it's the same in the US or whatever.

Also is there a official website where I can see all the discounted items? Or do I have to find them myself? Just wondering.

My rant for today.

Black Friday is just an excuse for stores to heavily discount shit nobody wants to move inventory and generate traffic.

I'd say your rant is slightly to the extreme.

If you know what to look for, there are usually at least a few deals here and there that I find worth going for. And sure, most of it is pure junk. But you simply should avoid those.

Also, I do my black friday shopping from my computer... not from the store. I would imagine there are some deals worth going to the store for, but not for what you have to put up with. If I can buy a 40" plus TV for a bed room online for $150, why bother going to a store.

This has been a legitimate (and extremely common) way to do black friday shopping for many years.

Heck I missed out on black friday and it's not even friday yet. There were a bunch of games I wanted but they sold out online pretty much instantly. They probably have tens of thousands of copies but only set aside like a couple hundred under the "BF" price.

Sometimes new stuff legitimately gets discounted. Last year the Acer B326HK 32" 4K IPS monitor literally launched a week prior to Black Friday at $999 and got discounted for 1 day to $699 on Newegg.

Oh, you mean official for Black Friday, not official for this site? Then, no.

FYI, in the USA, today is a holiday (Thanksgiving). Since it's one day away from the weekend almost everybody (who isn't in retail sales) gets this Friday off too. That, plus being the first shopping day between Thanksgiving and Christmas, makes it a big shopping day.

I have noticed that the big discounts are mostly TVs, which are very significant. Other things have decent discounts, but not as near as impressive. TVs are being used as Loss Leaders, it seems, to get people in the door.

Which is funny cuz it seems thats what most of us really want and dont care about other crap.

I'd love to have a nice big 4k TV at a discount, I dont even want anything else this year.

But its not worth risking my life, or freezing for 24 hours without a safe place to poop.

If I cant get it online then I will go without. I dont NEED it. I want it.

Newegg or NCIX will have them online, probably others as well.

Newegg has some really good deals on SSDs right now. 480GB SanDisk Ultra 2 is $109, 500GB Samsung EVO is $150 with free AC:Syndicate. I'm waiting until tomorrow to see if they drop lower.

Lol that cracked video is awesome. On a side note I've been wanting to build a quality target AR and found a bunch of discounts, dropped about $750 and got half my components. Ads for local stores do look pathetic, I'm sure as hell not going to stores at 5am, my happy ass will be in bed sleeping.
