According to this thread, BestBuy will NOT be price-matching on Black Friday and they will not open the Customer Service station. If I recall correctly, people said the same thing last year and what happened was that they opened the CS station for an extra register and that is where I bought/rebought products. You can always raise a huge stir and call over managers and have them call their supervisors, keep going up the corporate ladder. Bring a pen and paper, take down names, eventually down the line they'll give in. I mean, they'll sell the products either way.

There will be a lot of unadvertised deals on Friday, right? For me, only then it makes sense to get up early: to jump on some spontaneous deals. If that's not true, almost everything that has been advertised so far can be routinely found at AT, FW etc.

Where did you see a Maddog dual format drive? I saw a Mad Dog 4x DVD-R/-RW drive at officemax the other day. It was a Toshiba drive (didn't note the model number though). Maddog's website doesn't even list any DVD recordable drives

This 4x DVD-R maddog drive is supposedly $149.99 - 30IR - 30MIR - 10MIR = $79.99 at OM on Friday.

I went to OfficeDepot looking for the Liteon dual format DVD burner and they didn't have any in stock. I asked the sales associate and he said they don't carry them. I even hinted that it should be on sale on BF and he said that he's seen the ad and nothing like that was in there. So is the OD deal just a lie or is it maybe regional?
