I believe it was in stock earlier today - looks like it is OOS. Compatible with all dock connector iPods, according to the listing. Looks like Office Depot is offering it for $25.95, but shipping charges apply.

Otherwise, the regular iTrip is $35 (white), so you essentially save $8.

how does this compare to the belkin tunecast II, which is what i have right now and i can say it sucks. i'm only using it until i get an ipod interface that i like for my prius.

is the sound quality degraded the same way FM is... or is it a bit better?

iTrip is the best FM modulator for the ipod. Its only capable of FM quality sound, so it sounds like a radio station that comes in really clear.

The only reason I`m getting this one is because it doesnt use batteries. I have the Belkin Tunecast II and it goes through batteries quick.

I`ll lyk when it comes in. I also have the tunecast II. I just ordered the white one because the shipping was $8 and tax was $3. So i said what the hell make it come from amazon instead of OD and I get free shipping and no tax.

another good point. i usually browse the prius forums and someone stated these are the best fm modulators only in 87.9 frequency anyone else tried these before

forgot to account for the ammount of Ipod battery that the itrip leeches

Yes but the ipod battery is rechargeable unlike the batteries i used in the Tunecast.
