That there are black people that have the same fscked up attitudes about white people as some white people do about blacks? Wow there's a news flash, you should alert the media. Get over it.

I see what you're trying to do, and I appreciate your intention and motive. But ultimately, you've pasted comments from a site that tolerates racism, so it is not so surprising that examples of racist attitudes are present. I think that is what people are objecting to.

What's not happening (and I think what you wanted) was a general discussion of the prevalence or non-prevalence of anti-white bias amongst the black community. Clearly there is examples of this at the Joyner website. And I don't think it is a stretch to extrapolate some of those attitudes into a generalization.

But some of that crap over there is more like extremism, and not typical. The objectors in this thread are concerned that you are using the extreme example to represent the typical attitude.

I read the entire post that Jimbo linked. 3/4 of the people that posted in the thread were blatant racists. The bad thing is they don't even realize it. They have something against white people and have a pre-determined idea about them before they even talk to them.

Why is it OK for a black person to address another black person one way, and yet a white person cannot do the same? The black people who posted in that particular thread seem to cringe when they see white people because they are afraid of how they will be addressed by them. When you are looking for racism you will most assuredly find it- even if it isn't racism.

To give this thread one last chance at significance, I'll add that not only do I think there is anti-white bias in the black community, but there is also anit-white bias in the culture of public debate. What I mean by that is that there exists racial double standards and they live on because of the gap between what people actually believe and what they are willing to say in public.

Racism has become this ridiculous accusation akin to witchcraft or communist from other eras. In spite of the fact that everyone has the innate urge to support their own identity groups, the whites are expected to pretend that we don't and look around all wild eyed seeing if someone else is accidentally exhibiting any group preservation attitudes.

I expect to find that a group has a bias in their own favor. I am disappointed that whites are expected to dissolve their group self interest in favor of everyone else. Whites are expected to be the background matrix in which minorities form their cohesive cells.
