Seeing as the store employees were totally fooled, how did the PD know masks were involved? why did they need to "douse the area with bleach to destroy any DNA evidence" when a pair of gloves would have done the same thing?(I think)..

Something of the story seems strange. The only thing I can think of is that by emailing back the company to tell them the masks were perfect must have made an employee there put 2+2 together as another poster mentioned.

If they had waited a bit longer than 2 months for people they bought the masks from to forget about the transaction to those guys, if they bought a few more masks to cover the fact that 3 of them were going to be used in the heist, and if they had just sat on their ill-gotten gains for a bit then they would have never been caught.

But then again, the movie never explained that part of the plan. So they were dumb enough not to see the holes in that particular movie heist plot that would lead to their arrest.

Looks like your typical loan/pawn type of place.

But there are plenty of people who want to keep their money out of big banks and their accounts. That - or they are just too stupid to know how to manage money. You would be surprised.
