I'd expect it'd be more likely to see this in southern states, but Ohio doesn't shock me either. They're not much better than Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, etc.

I can't help but think that these idiots were trolling or looking for confrontation. It's possible they all dress like that all the time, but it'd surprise me. But all coordinating their "heritage" clothing and meeting somewhere in a large group for a redneck meal? That seems planned (beyond the meal).

Agreed that IMHO they should have been given the boot immediately, as well as banned from the chain in the future. Owner bailed out the back door in the middle of it happening too. Northern parts have huge swaths with very few minorities. The South, by comparison, has a lot more as percent of population. Those who don't know "others" are more easily radicalized against them. The hatred today is something new, freshly born of modern ideas and feelings. It is not leftovers originating from the South. No, it was born online and it will manifest throughout the nation. It may wrap itself in Southern symbols, but occurrences in Ohio tell me it is something worse.

Remember the Oregon militia. I would say there is a direct sense of fealty between the two events and the people involved. They resort to making noise today because they are not strong, but given an opportunity, I get the impression they would love to take down our country.

Managers should've told the people to leave, but they were probably trying to do whatever they thought would cause the lowest disruption and/or risk. Probably should've called the police and trespassed them.

But this is yet another reason guns shouldn't be everywhere in the country, telling rednecks to leave would be putting the manager's life at risk. I personally wouldn't put my life at risk to tell off rednecks.

If time was unlimited and so was money, sure, why not stop for a day to ride a roller coaster or go to a cool zoo or attempt to tour a jet engine manufacturing plant. But since life, time and money are not unlimited, there are a million better places to go where there is much more cool shit to see, whether natural wonders or town based. Literally a million, both inside and outside the states.

To be fair, Ohio is Kentucky with a few big cities sprinkled in. You drive through some parts of that state and it's a combo of Footloose and Children of the Corn.

I would say all states are like that, but no Ohio is flat and boring as hell, KY at least has some mountains and scenic driving, talking about terrain not people.
I am from Michigan, and the drive to Cedar Point was not too bad. the drive from KY to Michigan is horrible. Because Ohio, although they have recently increased I75 from 2 lanes to 3 and speed limit from 65 to 70 from Cincinnati to around Dayton is an improvement.
