EDIT: No pics yet, since most of you are uninterested. I deleted tons from my host site since then.

UPDATES---

12/13/08--- I finally put the only male I had in with one of the 3 females (5 days ago) and I believe they mated. Not 100% sure though. Didn't have my magnifying glass handy :laugh: Seriously though, the male was right there with the female and she let him crawl all over her.
After two days in that cage, he strayed away from her lair entrance and started wandering around the top. I moved him to a second Widow cage when I noticed this. No chemistry with this Widow yet. He stays far away from her.


12-28-08 --- Here are the pics I promised. The male mated with 1 of the 3 females and she finally laid an EGG SAC . Don't ask me why she keeps it at the entrance to her lair.....I've no clue. The male is currently in a jar with a diff. female. The pic's are not that great, but you can just make out the female within' the leaves and the male's directly to the right HERE

Has anyone actually put themselves in danger on ATOT before? Not going to do what you guys want, I know what it feels like about 1 hour later after a Widow bite............ It no feel nice!

Attack and kill the spiders so you can gain some exp and level up.

Just let the baby ones bite you daily or weekly to build up an immunity, then move up to bigger spiders after a few weeks. I heard an adult only has enough venom to kill a baby, not an adult. But if you are sensitive to bug bites, like bees or ants, I would pass on the bite experiments.

Two stay in Mason type jars, and the one that's the biggest, has her own special cage.

Actually, I just picked up a bigger cage to move the main widow in, and the next biggest will get her cage.
