I'm not up until this time next year. Hopefully this thing'll be cheaper by then.Originally posted by: pmoa

Well I took an outdoor shot and confirmed that geotagging works--unfortunately bbzzdd is down so I dont have a pic host to share it with you.
The geotagging is pretty cool--when you have a clear sky view the location icon shows up in the viewfinder. Then, for any pic you take with location info you'll see the option "show on map" in the menu. Clicking this shows a thumbnail view of the photo overlaid on BlackBerry Maps.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out where the actual coordinates are stored in the photo, as Windows' pathetic EXIF reader doesn't reveal it in the summary data.

Ok, so here's the photo I took of a highschool--not all that sharp but I might not have held down the shutter button to autofocus as required: storm_outdoors.jpg
Here's a better pic of the Storm (not taken with blurrycam): DSCF3157.JPG
Here's a pic of how geotagging places pics on the map: DSCF3158.JPG
Also, as DivideBYZero states the geotag IS in the EXIF data--Windows just doesn't show it. Most programs and webservices (i.e. Picasa, Flickr) should be able to work with this data though.

I'd like to get one of these... not allowed to have cameras at work I wonder if it would be very difficult to disable it.
