You want to last a couple hours at a Vegas Blackjack table? Either bring LOTS of money and bet normally, bring a mediocre amount of money and sit at the nickel table (literally betting 5-cents a hand), or just stand behind the players, and don't bet at all. That last choice is probably your best one.

Want to know how to leave Vegas with a small fortune, after a weekend of gambling? Go there with a LARGE fortune!

It can last you hours or a few minutes when you have a fast dealer and you lose every hand. In either situation, the hardest thing to do is to get up and walk.

Get a card at the gift shop. They'll let you keep it out at the table.

And 3rd base does have an advantage and where I always sit. You get to see more cards.

Sands has single deck. Should increase your odds but its the only casino where I have consistently lost money while being up at casinos that run 5 deck.

Pocket 25% of your winnings. Just put the chip in your pocket every time you win. Do this until you have at least recouped your original investment or lost all your table money.

Don't drink. There is a reason casinos give you free booz and it isn't the kindness of their heart.

If you want to last. Play the min, play the rules, and if somebody at the table is clueless leave. Because people who dont know wtf they are doing will mess up the cards for all of you. But even when you do that you can still be hit with some really crappy luck and lose anyways.

You can last a good while on a 5 dollar table and 2-300 bankroll. If you can find them. They'll be crowded.

Sitting at third base, you have control on what the dealer’s draws.

No you don't. And if you don't understand the math involved at least have the common sense to avoid gambling and the common sense to avoid gambling threads where you only succeed in making a fool of yourself.

Basic strategy + table minimum ($5 if possible).

Back when we lived out west and used to go to Las Vegas a couple times a year, we used to play blackjack downtown ($5 tables at the Golden Nugget) all day with only $100 each and usually broke even after tips. Then we discovered craps...

The only person here making themselves look a fool is you with your arrogant and insulting posts. No one here was hostile towards you, why do you have to come off as such an ass. State your point, argue it, whatever but there is no need to relate the OP a "retarded chimp".

I guess you’re not familiar with the terms dealer position advantage and card zoning.

Why don't you quit trolling, and actually prove your point?

There are charts online that tell you when to hit stand etc....I studied one for a bit and used it in a tourney at work and got 2nd place at my table. Too bad it was single elimination

if i'm running 10 decks and I witness 3 face cards drop in-front of me that does not significantly change the likelihood another face card is going to hit me. If I bet like it does because I"m in 3rd and have "more knowledge" then i'm going to screw myself.

Play 6 deck shoes without the constant shuffle. At 3rd base I stand to see 10-16 more cards if not more if there are splits. It's my spot.

Find one of those online BJ cames that tell you whether you are supposed to stand, hit, double down, or split. Play that for a while before going to the tables. Good practice with play money.
