The national average is now $3 per gallon, and going up. Though apparently the Saudis have said they will do something about it

Every day I see it going up 5 cents

I got gas Tuesday for $2.68 minus my Shell discount and then today it was $2.89.

Where I live, we're paying about $3.75/gallon now average. Even at Costco it's $3.50. I'm really glad I'm driving a Prius (50 MPG) these days. Hopefully the higher prices will encourage more people to buy fuel efficient cars and/or drive less.

Just breached $3.00 here in the DC area. I'm sure you can find it cheaper.

Did you ever notice that when the news says gas prices are going up they go up .10-.20 the very next morning? In the Tampa Bay area they go to $*.59, $*.69, $*.79, $*.89 then if we are lucky they start dropping by a few cents every few days after about a week. Price is $2.89 at almost all of the regular gas stations around here. I read somewhere that as soon as they think gas is going up all of the stations up the price because they use that extra money from the current batch to pay for the new batch at the supposed higher price.

We are at C$1.35 a litre. So about US$3.8 a gallon.

gas prices are based on speculative bullshit, especially when they're increasing the price. That shit happens at the speed of light on the mere mention of it. Decreasing, not so much, a bit more sloth-like when it's decreasing.

I have sat in the back of a cr-v and I can feel the steel "spring"

Not comfortable at all.
just bought a 2018 nissan rogue, seems comfortable enough tho i haven't taken it on any long road trips yet, longest trip so far has been 2 or 3 hours one way. milage is a little worse than the toyota solara it replaces, 28 - 32 compared to 30-35, both 4 bangers and I really like the infotainment system it came with.

Yeah. We never had high gas prices when the Democrats were a majority. Never.

lol

It must be really difficult for you either not understanding what people are saying or having to argue against points you don't want to argue against because you seem to want to straw man every argument you get in to.

Of course gas prices are going up again. We sold our 40+ mpg C-max and bought a new F-150 4x4! (avg mpg so far, 18.9, 22.6 is the best.)

Regular averaging $3.50 here in downtown Chicago and creeping over $3.25 in most of the burbs.

Looking like leasing another i3 was a sound decision.

I hope it gets high enough that folks can't afford to drive to work any more so our carbon footprint goes down.

When you're a US conservative, you have to take any statement by a libruuuul, immediately turn it into a strawman, and then napalm it with sheer dumpsterfire napalm.

Keep on keepin' on.

Why a strawman? I’d be quite happy with les people on the roads. Urban folks shouldn’t be allowed to own cars; mass transit or walk.
