BLAZING !!! Cendyne Dual Format 4x DVD Burner @ BJs $170

Couldn't believe my eyes !

Went to my local BJs and they had the new Cendyne Dual Format DVD burner for $250. BUT... it had an instant rebate of $30 and a BJs MIR of $50 bringing the total to $170 + tax.

I think that both rebates are valid through 6/15/03. Please note that this is B&M only, as BJs does not sell over the web.

Worth the membership price by itself.

hehehe, BJs... that's can't be the name of the store. btw, the cendynes are pioneer A05s... awesome burners. i picked mine up at staples for $50 after rebate--i believe that costco has a dual format 4x +/- burner for $230 though. i would go with that one for only $60 more.

Why would he want to pay more at Costco? He said the one at BJ's was the Dual Format drive, not the A05...

I don't know where you are in GA, but I pass a BJ's every day north of Atlanta (GA 400, exit 14 I think). There may very well be others. Also, according to another thread here in Hot Deals, Fry's will be opening in Duluth sometime soon .

I heard Walmart is considering buying all BJ's and converting to Sam's Club.
Good gas prices at BJ's if there is one near you.

I was just there on Sunday May 25 and all they had
was the Cendyne Pioneer A05 which is a DVD-R/RW drive,
and it was $250 - with no rebates posted on the sign.

This is the Rochester, NY branch.
Are you sure it was dual-format?
Dual format means DVD+/-R, not DVD-R/RW...

Maybe just not in stock yet in my town...

Sure is... as a matter of fact, there's a mall nearby which has a BJ's, a Dick's (Sporting Goods chain) and a Seimens (Furniture).
