When they say it's in transit, it means the day of the package is ready to be send...all ready for UPS to pick up...and then the next business day would be picked up by UPS and depends on where u are at and where it started...blah blah blah...My in transit was there until today...and I am getting it tomorrow

Does anyone know if these drives will work ok in the usb/firewire external enclosure that compgeeks has for $69? I've been looking for an external enclosure to put one of these drives in and one brand said it only takes up to 80gb. I'm kinda clueless on where else to look for an enclosure and exactly which one and brand to get. The one at compgeeks doesn't say anything about a gb limit. Also, is it too late to try for the $125 price adjustment? If not, what do you need to tell Dell exactly? thanks!

Well...i also got in on the $125 deal...
I originally order 2 drive with $25 off $250 and 10% so comes out to $279.60
Then I ordered the $125 a few days after...maybe one day after...I forgot...
Anyway...I told the CSR that at my original order i didn't know there were a 20% off for all dell brand hd...and i ask honestly for a price adjustment and he didn't say no at first but he wasn't going to give it to me...after i explained alittle and told them I will return the drives and reorder (actually i wasn't going to reorder cause i can't apply the discount no more and the drive is off the website) but then I told him that the 20% wasn't a coupon at all...it just apply to the hd when u purchase...so then he ask me how much did i get the other drive for, and i told him $125...and then he said okay...i will request a $40 off your order....meaning I am only paying $279.60-$40=$239.60 or getting the each drive for $120. Exactly $1 per Gig...he hee...

I just received an email stating that my drive was again delayed to May 13 but when I checked my order status, it showed being shipped today. Wow! I gonna have a 120 gigger that I don't need...just joking.

the music certainly is pretty, and the tracking number certainly does come fast.

well, according to ups tracking, mine was delivered today at 11am....

too bad i'm stuck at work till 5, but oh well.

my lite on 40x burner gets here on friday that i ordered with the drive...

The multiple order theory isn't 100% correct.

I only ordered one single drive on the 23rd. My expected delivery date has been pushed back twice and is now estimated as May 16th!!

That's actually fine by me as long as I get it...

This can be easily dealt with. About when the warranty is due to expire:
