DELL LOST MY ORDER! F(&*&&ing Dell. It isn't in the computer, they finally transferred me
to 'sales', where I got disconnected, since 'sales' was already closed. I used the F*wallet coupon,
which is now expired, what a bunch of idiots.

I have two on order with one account and six on another. The account with six now has no record of the order. The one with two still shows "in production."

Crap... please dont tell me I'm gonna lose my order now too... Still "In processes", but i have a bad feeling about this... I will reaise hell if they cancel.. or take up people on the offer of extras.. oy....

I got in on Friday and just got my tracking number!!
The package is coming in Monday the 29th via UPS.

I ordered on Fri and got it today! I live in Houston so shipping from Austin didn't take very long at all. I'm impressed with UPS.
Here's a scan of the sticker on teh drive. Be gentle, it's a geocities. I haven't started using it yet, still waiting for my 1.6a for the new rig, so I can't comment on the speed of this thing.

it shows that the first drive shipped....sweet now i just need a tracking number and my 125 one to ship as well.

Nope it doesnt mean it has shipped. Just check out your order status and it will tell you exactly which "step" your drive is in.

Also I am curious when serial ata will be introduced.

It says "In Prodution".. soo.. how soon (assuming that it dont gget canceled) could i expect it to get shipped? Ideas would be great.. sorry if i ask too many questions. but i am eager, and i really hope thati get this.. i guess i can live with it taking a week to arrive after beiing shipped.. i just want it to get shipped.. lol

Ordered mine on Saturday, and UPS tracking indicates it's arriving on Monday. My god, the hot deals forum is killing me, especially with the Dell deals. In the past couple months, I've grabbed the 2000FP, the 16X Lite-on DVD, the Canon S330 and S200, a Seagate Barracuda, a set of speakers, the Dazzle 6-and-1 and now this stupid hard drive. All I have to do is get in one one of the deals for an 8100 and a laptop and I'll have bought basically everything possible from Dell... BLEH!!!

I really have to learn some self control.

Yes, this is where I get to complain massively- I ordered on Friday, and my order 'disappeared', Dell can't even find it to cancel it........
