Blazing HOT. Philips HDR 212 20hr TIVO unit for $79.99 at Closing K-mart in OC.

decided to drop by the closing K-mart in Orange County today. I knew it has been closing for awhile now, but finally decided to drop by. It was now 40-70% off all items.

Saw a tivo 20hr unit lying around labeled at $299. Asked the cashier to scan it for me, IT RANG UP AT $79.99!!!!! These thing sell at amazon.com for $199, and $160ish on ebay. Ill scan my receipt when i get around to it cuz i noe at HD forum pepo won't believe you unless you show em proof.

Don't flame if you don't think this is a HOT deal, i sure do.

PS: i bought this at a CLOSING K-Mart, i'm pretty sure non-closing K-Marts have these at retail price.

i have no idea. I saw some old lady scanning one of these at those self price checking places. Asked her how much it was, and she said "i think it was $80." I went around looking for one, but didn't see any. Then when i was browsing around and ready to leave, i saw one sitting on an aisle in the middle of nowhere. Quickly picked it up, i guess i was lucky. Maybe you guys should try ur luck. Look everywhere...i mean everywhere. None of the "good" stuff was left though.

I have shopped at many k-marts recently (non-closing). I have never seen a tivo at k-mart. The only discount retailers that carried them were target and wal-mart, and they cleared them out long time ago. There's a reason why k-mart is going under.....

I picked one of these babies up at the Kmart in Lexington, VA last week. $80. Just sold it on eBay for over $200. Just wish they had had more than 1......
