I used to go skiing for a couple days once a year when i was a teenager. Didnt have my own skis or anything, but i had a pair of ski pants id gotten somewhere used. Found a $20 in them the second time i used them that i had left in them the year before.
On a semi-related note:
When i was 16 or so i went to summer camp in a wilderness area near Lake Tahoe in California. The evening before we went home, I managed to somehow lose my wallet while we were out hiking, searched all over for the damn thing, couldnt find it. Over 1 year later long after i had forgotten about this, i get a strange package in the mail. Inside is my wallet and a note from the guy who found it while he was out hunting. Everything was there, although a bit weather-beaten from sitting on the side of a mountain for a year. I had like $60 in it which the guy hadnt touched. Was a nice little cha-ching and damn honest and nice of the guy to send it back to me. I wish I could say I spent the $60 on bettering humanity or some sh!t, but hell, i was 16, i think i spent it on video games and pizza, heh.
