Angels and Airwaves < Blink182 < Box Car Racer

Box Car Racer was the shit. Who here remembers that? That was the loudest and hardest work they've done. They really gave Travis free reign to come up with some amazing drum work and the lyrics were pretty incredible.

Absolutely not. That's actually his simplest drumming (look at There Is). I've seen Travis live twice and he's nuts. Even when he had a broken are and played one armed he was crazy.

I really like their last album, but do prefer their classic material for nostalgic value. I think they'll continue with the more "mature" sound if you can call it that, which I think would be great.

They don't think too much of themselves, which is why I like them. Their not all great musicians, but the whole is somehow much, much greater than the sum of the parts. They also got together in high school and worked there way up.

I'm 38, and most of my favorite bands are classic rock, but for some reason I love this band. Maybe because I'm from California, and caught onto them early (1995) while I was in college - it was $5 to see them back then.

Boxcar Racer was the best thing to come from a Blink offshoot.

That being said, Blink182, love em or hate em have their place in history and are certainly a good band.

I plan on going to Bamboozle this year just to see The Get Up Kids.

Through Being Cool is still one of my favorite albums.
